Keep Your Socks Supportive for Longer

Proper care preserves the stretch, breathability, and softness of your bamboo compression socks. Most customers find the routine takes about thirty seconds per pair, and a few small habits make the difference between socks that last a season and socks that last for years.

Compression relies on elastic fibres that respond to heat and agitation. The goal is to keep those fibres relaxed, clean, and intact over time, so your socks keep delivering the same gentle graduated support from the first wear to the hundredth.

The 30-Second Routine

  1. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, inside out if possible.
  2. Use a mild detergent with no bleach, no fabric softener.
  3. Skip the tumble dryer. Heat breaks the elastic and shortens lifespan fast.
  4. Lay flat or line dry in the shade. Direct sun can fade colours over time.

How to Put On Compression Socks

  1. Roll the sock down to the heel before slipping your foot in.
  2. Unroll the sock gently up your leg instead of pulling from the top.
  3. Adjust the heel pocket so it sits flush with your own heel.
  4. Smooth out any wrinkles around the ankle and calf for even pressure.

Expected Lifespan

With regular wear and a gentle wash routine, expect six to twelve months of consistent compression before the elastic starts to relax. The fibre itself holds up much longer, so the socks stay soft and comfortable well past that point. When the support finally eases, it is the cue to replace the pair, not a sign of poor quality.
